We are so sad to announce that due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19, we have decided to host a smaller, private gathering to honor our marriage. Plenty of fish might have been where we connected but it didnt take long to realize these two fishes were meant to swim together! His Story: It started as a random sign-in on PoF and seeing a message from someone who truly seemed too good to be true, ended up turning into the best leap of my life. After asking her for drinks, the nerves definitely started to kick in. What to say? What to wear? But I’ll never forget the moment she walked in and I set my eyes on her for the first time. She was absolutely gorgeous, I was breathless (I did continue to breath though, dont worry), and it felt as though my heart had stopped (It kept beating, I’m alive). The fear of saying the wrong thing quickly passed as our conversations became natural. After that night ended, I couldn’t wait to see her again and to become amazing friends, partners in crime, soulmates, fiancés, and soon to be...... Her Story: I made the first move- just a quick good morning message!- and after a week of chatting we met for a drink. Despite ripping my pants while I got dressed, and being so nervous that I got sick on the way and had to go back to my apartment, what stood out the most about that night was how easily we connected and how the conversation just flowed. We talked for hours about work, friends, vacations, everything! We definitely had that first date aura- the bartender was giving us ideas for a second date, and an older gentleman at the bar commented on how cute we are as a couple. After a glass or two (or three) of wine, after a perfect evening, we departed the bar and he gave me a hug goodbye, like the perfect gentleman he is! The next morning, a delivery of 4 iced coffees (all different flavors because he didn't know what I liked yet) arrived at my work, and while I had already been excited to see him again, that was my first glimpse into what a thoughtful and kind person he was, and I knew this was going to be something great! 

After a day at the pool and a stressful move from hotels, we all headed to the High Roller Ferris Wheel for what I thought was just a 1/2 hour ride to see the Vegas strip from a different perspective. Never did I think that Des had other plans. Once we were at the very top with a view of the Las Vegas strip behind us, Des got down on one knee and proposed. Absolute perfect proposal with some of our closest friends there to enjoy the moment with us. We can not wait to celebrate with you all in September.
