Desmond and Alise are natural introverts. They met for the very first time at Savannah Blue in Downtown Detroit, MI, a SoulFood Restaurant for their first date. The wine was flowing, and things went so well that after eating, they decided to walk to a romantic candlelit Jazz Club by the name of Cliff Bell's to spend more of the evening together; they spent the night seated and getting to know each other the swanky tunes of a Quartet. This date ended with a kiss on the cheek and would later lead to many more dates of fine dining, hand-in-hand walks in the park, and sitting for hours in bookstores discussing views and opinions on various topics. Desmond and Alise share much in common. In addition to their relaxed, introverted nature, Desmond and Alise share a love for science, health, and medicine. Desmond is a double board certified Physician in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and Alise is a compassionate Travel Registered-Nurse in the specialty of Critical Care. They also share a love for memes, popcorn, and not to mention great cocktails! After receiving the blessing of her mother and father, Desmond asked for Alise's hand in marriage along the peaceful waters of Los Cabos, Mexico. After a candlelit dinner on the beach, underneath the stars, Desmond asked Alise to go for an evening stroll, and on one knee, he popped the question!
