We suggest the day before the wedding (October 20th) for safe travels or earlier to have extra time on the beach! If you are a member of the wedding party, please arrive no later than 1 P.M. on October 20th.
There are two airports that you can fly into. We suggest flying into VPS in Destin, FL. VPS is the closet airport to FWB. Pensacola (PNS) airport is about an hour away from Fort Walton.
We love our youngest family members! However, our wedding is for ages 10 and up due to insurance and alcohol restrictions our venue has placed on us. Please be aware that we will be playing uncensored music and alcohol will be served to adults. We will not be responsible for any incidents. Please use your own discretion. If you want to bring your children, but don't want them at the ceremony or reception here is an option for you: Fort Walton has a wonderful babysitting service that can come to you. It will be in the mid to lower 80's! Please dress accordingly. We would prefer business casual at the minimum. Shoes aren't required for the ceremony, but you are more than welcomed to wear sandals or slides. You will need shoes for the reception.
Tru Hotel is 5 minutes from the ceremony location and 7 minutes from the reception hall. It does not have beach access, but is less than 5 minutes from a beach. The Residence Inn (Our preferred hotel) is 4 minutes from the ceremony location and 7 minutes from the reception hall. It sits on the Santa Rosa sound. It is less than 5 minutes from a beach. We also have a special hotel rates at both hotels listed. Please look at the "travel" section for more accommodation discounts and suggestions.

Yes, it is. If you would like to smoke there is a designated smoking area in the parking lot across the street.
No. The ceremony is on the beach( Beasley Park). The reception is indoors at The Place on Beal.
