Our wedding will take place on Friday, October 16 at 5:00 p.m. CDT at Elizabeth F. Cheney Mansion, 220 N Euclid Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302. You’ll find directions and parking information on the venue’s website or your maps app by searching “Elizabeth F Cheney Mansion.”
The ceremony will be held outdoors on the grass. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shoes, as thin heels may sink into the lawn.
Our dress code is formal. We recommend block heels, wedges, or flats since the ceremony will be held on the grass—comfort and elegance go hand in hand. Please avoid black and consider embracing Fall colors instead.
We have not reserved any hotel room blocks. Guests are welcome to book any nearby hotel or accommodation that works best for them.
There will be no transportation provided between hotels and the venue. Please plan your own transportation to and from Cheney Mansion (rideshare, driving, or carpooling with other guests).
We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time so you can park, find your seat, and settle in. If you arrive late, you may be asked to wait briefly before joining the ceremony.
There will be a cocktail hour and reception with food and drinks following the ceremony.
