Flight
Rome is about a 2 hour drive or approximately a 3 hour train ride to the city of Assisi. This is the best and suggested route to travel for the wedding. We recommend flying into FCO in Rome before the 16th of July as flights can be delayed and disrupt travel plans and we'd hate for you to miss any of the festivities! If you plan on taking a train, please purchase your tickets in advance to avoid tickets being sold out.
Flight
If you plan to rent a car flying into the Florence airport could be an option, it is about a 2 hour drive to Assisi from Florence or Firenze as it is called in Italian. There are no suitable train options on our wedding dates at this time.
Flight
Perugia airport is a 25 minute drive from the venue. Although, prices may be more expensive to fly into this airport.
Train
Trenitalia has two nonstop trains traveling from Roma Termini train station in the city center of Rome to the Assisi train station on the 16th of July. There are five other options that require you to transfer trains that will get you to Assisi before the welcome dinner as well. Please note that the Roma Termini train station is in the city center of Rome and NOT the Rome airport train station.
