The Wedding Website of Desiree Seeley and Vlad Perelman
The three day wedding event will take place at Castello di Petrata which is located 15 minutes outside the city center of Assisi. We have a limited number of rooms available on property for family and the wedding party. We will reach out to those of you staying on property about your accommodations. The remaining guests can find beautiful accommodations within the city of Assisi. For your convenience we have listed some hotels recommended by the property staff below. If you chose to rent a car and drive to the property there is plenty of onsite parking. If you prefer not to rent a car, the best way to reach the venue would be to take a train from Rome to the Assisi train station. We will provide transportation from the city of Assisi to the venue for all three days of wedding activities. We are so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you. We are so thankful for your willingness to follow us all the way to Europe for our big day!

Flight

Rome Fiumicino Airport "FCO"

Rome is about a 2 hour drive or approximately a 3 hour train ride to the city of Assisi. This is the best and suggested route to travel for the wedding. We recommend flying into FCO in Rome before the 16th of July as flights can be delayed and disrupt travel plans and we'd hate for you to miss any of the festivities! If you plan on taking a train, please purchase your tickets in advance to avoid tickets being sold out.

Flight

Florence Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola "FLR"

If you plan to rent a car flying into the Florence airport could be an option, it is about a 2 hour drive to Assisi from Florence or Firenze as it is called in Italian. There are no suitable train options on our wedding dates at this time.

Flight

Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport "PEG"

Perugia airport is a 25 minute drive from the venue. Although, prices may be more expensive to fly into this airport.

Train

Trenitalia

Trenitalia has two nonstop trains traveling from Roma Termini train station in the city center of Rome to the Assisi train station on the 16th of July. There are five other options that require you to transfer trains that will get you to Assisi before the welcome dinner as well. Please note that the Roma Termini train station is in the city center of Rome and NOT the Rome airport train station.

Travel Note

Jubilee Year

It has been brought to our attention that 2025 is a Jubilee year, they happen once every 25 years. It will be a big celebration all year long throughout the country but particularly Rome and the Vatican City. Due to it being a Jubilee year flight prices and accommodations may be more expensive than usual so booking as soon as possible may save you some cash!

For all the days along the way
