We're getting married!

In November 2019, Desiree moved to the United States and began a new chapter filled with new places, new routines, and one especially new face - Tom’s. They met in an unlikely place - the dental office, but it was Tom’s music, not his work, that brought them together. She found herself drawn to his playlist - music she’d never normally go for, yet somehow loved. What started as a shared appreciation for music turned into effortless conversations, shared moments, and a warm, easy comfort that felt like home. Their story unfolded like a delicious ice cream sundae. First came dates - lots of ice cream dates with each one sweeter than the last. Those little dates turned into grand adventures: trips, spontaneous getaways, and trying everything new and exciting together. Every adventure and every shared scoop brought them closer, and somewhere along the way they fell in love. They were opposites in all the best ways - Tom, calm and stoic; Desiree, playful and exuberant, but together, they balanced each other perfectly, like two flavors swirling into one perfect cone. After living together, Tom knew it was time to pop the question. Since they both loved hosting, they planned a Fourth of July BBQ and hired an ice cream truck. Little did Desiree (or their friends) know, the BBQ was a ruse. The day had been carefully orchestrated just for her. When the ice cream truck arrived and Desiree went to order, Tom asked if she’d like the “Marry Me?” flavor, turning a sweet little surprise into a memory that would mark the start of their next chapter together. They are overjoyed to be getting married and can’t wait to celebrate with their loved ones.
