We're Getting Married!

Both Desi and Rob had no idea that stepping into their first day of Principles of Management class in the fall of 2014 at Johnson & Wales University would change their lives. Professor Felix assigned the class into several different groups, and as destiny set its course, Desi and Rob were grouped together. After numbers were exchanged, Rob made his first move with the most romantic text: "Hey, it's Rob from Management." Rob then continued on with his grand gestures, and asked Desi if she wanted to join him and some friends at the college's local pizza joint. Throughout the next couple of months, Desi and Rob would continue to hangout seldom, as they were both occupied with their time consuming sports. Come winter that year, Desi and Rob were now in communication every day, but still unsure of where this story was heading. Rob decided to turn things up a notch, and asked Desi to a formal dinner date on Valentines Day. Following that date, Desi and Rob went on to spend everyday together and knew exactly where they wanted this story to go. March 9th, 2015 Rob and Desi officially became boyfriend and girlfriend, and by October 31st of that year, Rob and Desi moved into their first apartment together. Four years later, Rob and Desi have graduated from college, purchased their first home together, and extended their family with four furbabies.

After a long 24 hours of flying, Rob and Desi's plane finally touched down in Nairobi, Kenya. Upon opening the hotel room door, Desi was in complete shock stepping into a massive suite that was showered with champagne, desserts, and flowers. Completely oblivious to what was to come, Desi began to take video of the very impressive suite, and as she stepped into the master bedroom, she found Rob standing in the middle of the room holding beautiful roses. At the moment, Desi was concerned about the pale shade of Rob's face, and confused as to what occasion they were celebrating. As Rob began to profess his love for Desi and their destiny to be together forever, the magnitude of the moment finally hit Desi. A waterfall of tears began to stroll down her face as Rob got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever. Of course his question was met with a "yes, a million times over," and the couple went on to enjoy the rest of their Africa trip in a love trance.
