We met and fell in love in the Classic City (Athens, Ga), building first a friendship and then a romance. Our first encounter was at a bar with mutual friends. We both caught each other’s eye, and the rest is history. We just clicked. Our love grew over many pizza dates (because that’s all Desiree would eat at the time), countless concerts and festivals, and at our favorite Athens hotspots: Terrapin Brewery, Fuzzy’s, and The Place. Athens will always hold a special place in our hearts because it was a blast, taught us many lessons, helped us grow up, and most importantly gave us each other! Eight years’ worth of memories later and we’ve started a life in Atlanta, traveled to some of our favorite places (Spain and Tulum to name a couple) , bought our first home together, and introduced one furry pup (Layla) to our family. In May of 2021, Nick popped the question while visiting one of our favorite cities – Chicago, and Desiree said yes. We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
