We have a simple beautiful love story. The one where friends turn into something more. Gunner had no idea who Desiree was in high school. His friends had to explain who I was and how he had been to my cabin multiple times at parties, in which he thought it was the Mergener's cabin. He also had to have me pointed out at sporting events as the girl who is always yelling and of course sitting next to Makenzie and Abby. No worries, after we graduated this Peshtigo boy came to realized who this coleman girl was. We stayed friends over the years, talking very few, meeting out with mutual friends and thinking nothing of it. Gunner happened to be the only guy to lend me a helping hand while trying to throw up one time during the worst winter storm in Oshkosh. But that didn't start the spark there. It was not until one October night around halloween when I was trying to hook up his friend with one of my friends. For some reason that started a spark and we talked everyday from then until December 23rd. This is when I showed up at his house, because a girl can honestly only wait so long. Someone had to make the first move, and you guessed it, I invited myself over and he happily said yes. I was a classy gal, I brought him a christmas present. It was two sets of salt and pepper shakers, actually full of salt and pepper. One was pineapple's, the other was two dogs kissing. We still have the salt and pepper shakers to this day. After that we started to hang out more and more until January 26th. A mere four weeks of hanging out. God bless our good friend Ethan for helping Gunner ask me out. Basically stating its about time that he shoots his shot with me and ask because, he isn't going to get any better than me. Well Gunner ask and Ethan helped make it Facebook official. We truly wouldn't be who we are if it wasn't for our friends helping us along the way without even realizing they were. From there the rest history. We have grown more in love everyday and we couldn't be more happy to be starting the rest of our lives together. We are so blessed to have you celebrate our wedding with us.
