Like all good modern love stories, ours began with a mutual right swipe on Bumble. After a few weeks of texting and late-night phone calls that felt like we'd known each other forever, we finally met in person - and sparks flew immediately. Just as things were heating up, life threw us a curveball: Desiree went on vacation, came back with COVID (0/10, do not recommend), and we didn't see each other for almost a month. But the connection didn't fade. If anything, all those weeks of texting and checking in only brought us closer. When we were finally reunited, there was no question: this was it. From that point on, we were virtually inseparable. Together, we've built a life full of laughter, lazy Sundays, Lego-building marathons, and a full house of love with our two dogs (Lincoln and Arlo) and three cats (Maui, Rx, and Archie). They keep things chaotic - in the best way. In October 2024 came our one-year anniversary. Desiree proposed first (yes, she was very smooth), and Brette said yes through happy tears. Not to be outdone, Brette proposed right back a few weeks later, because two brides = two rings = twice the sparkle. Now, we're counting down to October 2026, when we'll celebrate this love story with all of you - and officially become the Trindle-Denkers (try saying that five times fast).
