Desiree and Brandon started getting to know eachother on their 8th grade Washington, D.C. field trip. They were assigned on the same bus and chapperoned group. It all started when Brandon asked Desiree to borrow her ladybug pillow pet during the bus ride. For the remainder of the trip, they proceeded to flirt like middle schoolers do. Needless to say, Desiree came home with a HUGE crush! She was overjoyed when she recieved a Facebook message from Brandon the first night back home. Obviously, Brandon had a crush too! After many nights of texting back and forth, they hung out on the first night of summer break. That night turned into every single night that summer as they became an official couple. That was the summer of 2012 and not much has changed since then. Despite all odds, they were inseparable through high school and college. They have experienced so much enjoyment together. One of their favorite memories was Desiree taking Brandon to Disney World for the first time their freshman year of high school. During that trip, Brandon told Desiree that someday he would propose to her there. They have met every teenage milestone together from drivers licenses, to prom, graduation, turning 21, and many many more! They have also experienced tragedy and loss, both losing beloved family members. One was always by the others side helping them through these difficult times. As they matured, their love has only grown stronger with each passing year. Finally on May 16th, 2021 Brandon followed through with his promise and proposed to Desiree right in front of the castle at Disney World. Not only is 2022 the year they will offically become husband and wife, it also marks 10 years from that bus ride to Washington, D.C. where it all began. Not sure anyone would have believed they would be where they are today back in 2012, but here they are… more in love than ever, and ready to spend the rest of their lives together! ❤️
