Approximately 2:30am on Thursday 6/14/2018, Nick comes home from a 10 hour shift. Desiree fast asleep. Nick: "Desiree" (says urgently)..."Desiree" Desiree: (waking up, hair everywhere, one eye opened, can barley see with no glasses, and just the closet loght on). "What did you do?... What happened?" (trying to turn around and get up. Now sitting up Desiree looked at Nick, standing over the bed tearing up a bit...) Nick: "I couldn't wait anymore. Will you Marry Me?" Desiree: (closes eyes started to cry, Got up to hug nick, While holding Nick for about 2 minutes.) "It took you so long...", Nick: "I had this for so long. I wanted to do it big but I just couldn't wait anymore". " Try it on!" Desiree: (has Nick put on the engagement ring) "It's about time". (Both laughed)...

I know you are all wondering why we got married July 21st, 2018 and getting married again September 1st, 2019. I just made it over the poverty line (it is a blessing and a curse) and I lost my government health coverage. Nick, working at a union factory, has great insurance and since we are getting married anyways... we got hitch early. It was not ideal, we truly did want to be united together in front of all our friends and family, Just as the timing of everything and health we had to do the jail house thing. Now we want to do it right and redo the whole shebang in front of those we care for most. So we will be having our "true wedding" / "vow renewal" with you lovey folks!
