Desire’s version So we first met in 7th grade in Mrs. Turner’s Career Discovery Class. Crazy, I remember exactly the outfit he had on. Red dickie shorts that came all the way to his ankles and an oversized white shirt. Keep in mind this was 2007. I remember him being cocky and talking way too much lol. Over the years we remained good friends. Once we graduated high school he went off to college that was about five hours away and I went to a local junior college. Out of nowhere we started calling and texting each other more, venting to each other about school and relationships and next thing you know he was asking me out. I have to admit I didn’t take him serious in the beginning. Here we are 9 years later. I wouldn’t trade him for the world. Damario’s version We met in middle at West Jones. She talked a lot and got on my nerves. She was also very sweet! I wasn’t the nicest person, but I made sure to try my best to be nice to her. We then graduated and she went to Jones Junior College, and I went to Coahoma Community College. Freshman year we conversed more and became closer friends. One night i saw on Instagram she was going out with her friends, lookin good. I never saw this Desire’ in high school, so I had to shoot my shot. I missed a few times, but real shooters gone keep shooting!! One night I sent her a long message letting her know how serious I was, and she finally said yes..! Swishhhhhhhh 9 years later we here!
Desire’ was under the impression that she and her family were taking family portraits and celebrating her grandparents 49th wedding anniversary at her uncle’s home in Jackson, Mississippi. However, Mario had other plans. She spent the day with her sister, and after getting dressed they traveled from Meridian to Jackson. Upon arriving, Destiny stated that they had to go around the front of the house instead of the garage because of the “Happy Anniversary” banner that was placed there. Once they walked around the gate, that’s where Desire’ saw her family & friends and Mario down on one knee. Of course she said yes!
