Joel and I grew up in church together and (of course) I always thought he was so handsome but never made it known. We were always great friends and as we grew older he one day told me that he liked me more than a friend and I said no. Truth is, I knew I was not ready to be in a relationship because I was afraid to open up my heart to anyone. I continued to focus on God and time went on. We always had a great time together no matter what we were doing. He was always such a gentleman. After some very serious prayer my heart was ready and we made it official in March of 2017 and from that moment on I can't tell you how much Joel has shown up for me. He has treated me with the most respect, kindness, and gentleness. He is so selfless. He has been there for me through the ups and downs of life and he supports me in all I do. He encourages me in my walk with the Lord and pushes me to be a better person. He is my better half. He always takes care of me. He protects me and my heart. When I'm with him I feel safe and at home. He is the love of my life. All glory goes to the Lord for blessing me with such an amazing Godly man who sees me and loves me unconditionally. God`s timing and plan is perfect. I couldn't be more excited, and honored to become Joel`s wife.

We started off as great friends growing up together in church and I always thought Desiray was very pretty. I told her I wanted to get to know her more than just a friend and she replied with "No, why do you like me?" Haha. She completely shot me down so I never brought it up as it took a lot for me to admit that in the first place. I was absent from church for sometime but Desiray and I always kept in touch and sometimes even hung out to catch up. During that time life got the best of me and I was going through a lot. She was always there to give me words or wisdom and to point me in the right direction.. towards Jesus. I knew God had a plan and in His perfect timing he brought it all together. God know's exactly who and what we need and for me that is Desiray. God brought her to me. He showed me that she'll be by my side no matter what. I knew without a doubt that she was meant just for me so of course as a man I had to ask her father for permission to date her. He gave me his blessing and since March 2017 she has been by my side and I'm very thankful to where God has brought us. She's the love of my life. She's my better half the one that helps me to be the man I know God created me to be. My life is complete with her by my side and always lots of fun. Whatever comes our way with God at the center together He will help us overcome. God blessed me with the best. He made Desiray just for me, my bride to be.
