It all began in the fall of 2018, when Desirae started working at the salon where Logan’s sister, Alysa, also worked. Though we saw each other often, we were both a little too shy to do more than exchange small smiles and quick conversations. Alysa, always playing matchmaker, tried more than once to set us up—but timing has its own way of working things out. Over time, we naturally became friends. We started seeing each other at the gym, where our workouts slowly turned into long conversations that neither of us wanted to end. What began as casual talks grew into something more meaningful, and it wasn’t long before we realized how easy and natural it felt to be around each other. In July of 2022, we finally went on our first official date. Just a month later, we began dating, and our lives have been filled with love, laughter, and countless memories ever since. Two years later, in October of 2024, Logan got down on one knee and asked Desirae to spend forever with him. What started with shy glances and friendly conversations has blossomed into a love story we know was always meant to be.

In October of 2024, Logan planned a proposal that was perfectly fitting for the season. With pumpkins all around and the crisp autumn air setting the scene, he carved “Marry me?” into a pumpkin, creating a heartfelt and unforgettable moment. Of course, not everything went exactly as planned. The pumpkin decided to make a dramatic exit of its own, tumbling away before we could fully take it in.
