We're getting married!

We met online. Jim reached out first and once we met, I knew that this man was about to drastically change what I had in mind for my future. I quickly realized that I would do anything for him and he was exactly what I was missing in my life. We quickly became exclusive and the I Love You's were soon after. Neither of us expected to find our missing pieces but here we are!

We went on a week long vacation to Colorado in July of 2021. Our birthdays are a week apart in later July so we decided to take a trip to celebrate our birthdays. We began our journey on July 18th, driving to Colorado. On July 19th we had plans to visit Pike's Peak. We arrived at the Cog Railway station at 9:45am and at 10am, began our ride up the mountain. After a beautiful ride to the top we arrived at 11am. We got some donuts and decided to walk around. We took a photo in front of the sign at the top of the summit and then Jim asked me to wait because he wanted a photo with the view. While my back was turned, Jim got down on one knee and when I turned around, he asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! We got engaged 14,115 feet above sea level, at Pike's Peak.
