FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you celebrate in style with us by wearing a pop of color on the evening of October 4th! We ask for formal, but comfortable clothing options! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE avoid wearing whites, creams, ivories, silver or gold!!!!! We are unsure of what the weather will be on our wedding day, please be sure to wear something that is versatile to warm, snowy, rainy or cold conditions! We want all of our guests to be comfortable -- Whatever you wear, bring your dancing shoes!

Question

Plus ones?

Answer

Plus ones are limited to spouses and kids. If we do not know them/they are not your significant other, please do not bring them to our wedding or they will kindly be asked to leave.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed, but we understand! If you cannot make the wedding, please let us know as soon as you can by indicating "will not attend" on the RSVP page, so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside rain or shine, cold or warm! Cocktail hour and the reception will be in a covered pavilion. There will be places to sit outside the pavilion as well as some activities for our guests as long as the weather permits them!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 1:30 in the afternoon. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to park and find yourself a seat!

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking! GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN CARS, please make prior arrangements to get you and your car home SAFELY if you decide to partake in drinking. If we think you are unfit to drive home yourself, you WILL NOT be driving. NO. EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Our venue is located in Kane, PA. We have decided not to do a hotel block to give our guests the freedom to stay at a place most comfortable for them. We understand we have friends and family located in various areas of the country and do not want to lock our guests into one location. That being said, please do your own research to book lodging that suits you and your family best. We have family staying with us and will be full, very sorry for any inconvenience.

Question

Day of contact?

Answer

Please DO NOT contact the Bride or Groom on the day of our wedding unless urgent! We have lots to do the morning before the ceremony. If you need to contact someone, please contact Makala Kelly (Matron of Honor) or Hayden Havle (Best Man)

Question

What if I have a question that is not on the FAQ?
