Once upon a time, Adriana and Dave both downloaded an app called Hinge. Adriana "liked" Dave's photo and Dave "liked" hers back. They started messaging back and forth and discovered they both didn't really have any solid plans for Super Bowl LVI. Adriana suggested they go to a bar to watch it together. We started at one bar, and then went to another...and another...and before they knew it, it was already 11pm. Adriana and Dave didn't realize it then, but that night would be their last first date.

Dave told Adriana that he had overtime and when he was "on his way home," he asked Adriana to meet him downstairs to help with something. Thinking Dave must have stopped by Costco, Adriana figured she'd have to help carry something. When Dave arrived, he asked Adriana to meet him by the pool; she didn't think much of it. When she opened the pool gate, Dave didn't have anything in his hands. Adriana immediately became suspicious and asked what was going on. He asked her to come with him around the corner to the deck area, and when she did, she saw a little mound covered with Ziggy’s blanket (Dave’s late dog). She immediately knew there was a dog underneath the blanket and started crying. When she lifted the blanket and peered into the carrier, she saw not one little puppy--but two! She was shocked to say the least, but entirely overjoyed. First, she lifted out Finley and next, she lifted out Griffey. While she was holding Griffey, Dave told her to look at his collar, and there strung on his little collar was a gorgeous diamond ring. Dave immediately got down on one knee and asked Adriana to marry him and she gave a resounding YES!
