In the summer of 2018, Desi and Seth’s story began with a simple first date in downtown Columbus. What started as watermelon beers and corn hole, turned into hours of effortless conversation, laughter, and the kind of connection that feels like a reunion. Seth received a call during the date from his best friend, shocked that he was at Hound Dog’s Pizza without him, to which Seth responded, “I'm pretty sure this is the love of my life!” From the very first day, they couldn’t imagine life without each other’s presence. They bonded over music, shared passions, and the quiet wonder of moments that felt almost too coincidental to ignore. Seth even shared a dream he once had prior to their first date. A vivid image of a massive bridge suspended high in the air, and a feeling that he had known Desi long before they ever met. At the time, it was simply a cute story, something to flatter Desi.
