I’ve known Annie what feels like my whole life . Not only is she my best friend she has become apart of my family (sister from a different mister ) . Watching Annie grow in this amazing women brings me joy . Annie is my confidant , counselor and so much more. I feel like I can’t go a day without talking to her . I love how honest she is, and the advice she gives has really helped form me into who I am today. We have shared every major event in our lives together may that be good, bad and the ugly, and I so very excited to share my wedding day too. Our bond is unique and special. I'm so very grateful for Annie being right by my side on my special day, love you!

“Carrie the hair god” - I honestly don’t know if I could make it through life without you! Carrie is never afraid to be herself and is always striving to help others. Over the years Carrie has been an amazing friend and I couldn’t ask for more. Her contagious laugh, that you can hear from a miles away, I just can’t get enough of. Carrie is the strongest woman I know. Raising a daughter on her own; motivates me to be the best mom, friend and helper I can be everyday. Thank you Carrie for showing me how to be so strong! I was fortunate enough to meet Cheryl about 15 year ago through my cousin and her now husband Thomas. Cheryl’s confidence and sass immediately stood out, something I am still desirous of. When I met Kris about 8 years ago I just knew we were going to become good friends, and here we are with her standing by my side on my wedding day! Michelle and I met working together at Toyota. When I found out we share the same passion of music I knew we were destined to become friends. It’s rare that you have someone that you deeply connect with and I am happy to say that I have found that in Michelle. I have never met a person that had a comeback for everything until I met Michelle , and she will always be my number one pick for trivia night .This supportive friendship and willingness to always listen and give her advice is something I will cherish for a lifetime. I can honestly say Gabbie is my role model , all of her achievements over the years make her the definition of a BOSS WOMEN. Gabbie is the most kind hearted and goal driven person I know. I met Gabs when I was about 10 joining her traveling basketball team. Since day one she has made such a positive impact on my life and makes me want to strive for my very best. No matter how much time we spend apart, when we see each other we can pick right back up like we were together that whole time. Jason has been my best friend for decades but I also have him to thank for setting us up on our very first blind date – and quickly becoming our honorary “third wheel” for the many dates that followed. Jason is one of the most loyal people I know, and I couldn’t be happier to have him standing by my side on the day. Keep an ear out for his best man speech, which will no doubt be filled with embarrassing tales of golfing experiences. Jason you are truly my best friend. knowing Jason has given me the best and worst stories to tell of my life but wouldn’t change it for the world . Rob is my cousin but more like my brother we grew up doing everything together . I can’t think of too many childhood memories that didn’t include Rob , and I couldn’t imagine not having him by my side on one the biggest days of my life. Thank you Rob for sharing this memory with us !

Derreck is the brother of the bride . Growing up with two sisters, I’m extremely excited to finally add a brother. In the relatively short amount of time I have spent with Derreck he has shown me what true drive, ambition, and hard work can achieve. Thomas is not only Desi’s cousin, but a great example of the kind of person we all benefit from having around. He is educated while still being hungry to learn. He is focused while still making time to consider others. He is accomplished but still possesses the drive to succeed even more so. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Thomas and I’m honored to have him as a groomsman as well as a friend.

What to say about Nick Tarpein! Nick and I started out as co-workers in the car business together, progressed through the ranks similarly (for a bit). We developed a friendship while sharing work coverage as well as many late night deal closing sessions that may or may not have been prolonged by a beverage or two! Our friendship re-kindled and strengthened once again when Desi and I started dating. He was a great friend and mentor for Desi and witnessing that, I gained even more respect for him. Since then, Nick has proven to be not only a great friend but also a valuable resource for topics ranging from professional to very personal issues. I am so glad that Nick, Kris, Desi and I get to experience this part of our journeys together and look forward to see where the rest takes us!

Sometimes in life you meet people that you immediately know are good. In John’s case, this is particularly so. His unassuming, calm nature almost belies the fact that he is really.... well... Good. This description, for some people, may come across as obtuse or dismissive, but the reality is that the depth of John’s character doesn’t reveal itself until you spend time with him. When you do, you find not only the kindness and calmness you would expect, but also an incredible sense of humor, a freakishly strong golf game, an anchor for his family, and a loyal friend. You quickly realize that John possesses a quiet confidence that allows him to come across “Good” when he is actually pretty Great.

Every time I think of Mark, the scene from the movie “Stepbrothers” comes to mind. Specifically the line, “Did we just become best friends?? Yes!!!” His wife Annie is Desi’s bestie and so by default it is expected that we would be as well. Imagine my surprise when reality met and exceeded expectations! Mark is one of the most genuine, good hearted, funny, and passionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is always ready for fun, seeks and exudes positivity even in hard times. He reminds me to always look for the positive in both people and situations. He also reminds me not to forget to have fun! Desi and I are lucky (as are most of the people that have met Mark) to have him in our lives and I couldn’t imagine him not being a big part of our day.
