RESTAURANTS (Great Oysters, Lobster, & Clam Chowder!)
Luckily there is too long of a list to list out each one individually :) Here are our recommendations for food in the area that you should look into getting reservations in advance if possible. - 22 Bowen's (Great steakhouse) - Black Pearl (Fun outdoor dining with great New England clam chowder & mussels) - Red Parrot (iconic Newport staple) - Clarke Cooke House - Safari Room - Scarpetta & Showfish Newport (both are located in Gurney's Hotel) - The Reef - Belle's Cafe (breakfast)
Newport Vineyards / & Taproot Brewing Co.
Alright alright bring in the vino! Reservations highly recommended. I know a lot of you think you are sommeliers, so go enjoy this beautiful vineyard which is only about a 15 minute drive away from the center of Newport. Not only is this a vineyard, but also a brewery attached! Come here to get some cold brewskis, wine flights, & food. Cheers!
Mansions (Vanderbilt / The Breakers, Rosecliff, The Elms, & Marble House)
Mansion site seeing is a very popular activity in Newport! There's a good amount of mansions in the area that are beautiful for site seeing during the days.
Cliff Walk
Newport's 3.5-mile Cliff Walk is the perfect place for a scenic stroll along the ocean on one side, and stunning, century-old, Gilded Age mansions on the other!
Schooner Aurora (Sailing)
Lots of water activities you can do here in Newport! It's known for sailing, so here is a good recommendation to check out if you're interested over the weekend. I'm sure there are other great vendors out there as well for this too.
