Where should we stay?

Answer

A room block has been reserved at Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie. Additional nearby accommodations are listed on the Travel page.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle will be available for guests staying at the Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie. The shuttle will depart at 4:00 PM. Return shuttles to the hotel will run at 10:30 PM (after the reception) and midnight for guests staying for the after-party.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! On-site parking is available at Hudson House, and valet service will also be provided. A shuttle will also run to and from the Hyatt for guests staying there.

What if I arrive after the ceremony begins?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please allow at least 20 minutes before the ceremony begins to park, mingle, and find your seat. To avoid interruptions, the entrance will close once the ceremony begins. If you arrive after 5:00 PM, we’ll be excited to welcome you at cocktail hour.

Will the wedding events take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. Cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor, and the reception will take place inside, with guests welcome to step out onto the beautiful deck overlooking the Hudson River.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer Formal Attire: Cocktail dresses for women and your best suit and tie for men. Fun, bright summer colors are encouraged for all guests.
