We want you to look good and feel good! To help you plan your outfit, we kindly request that guests follow a Cocktail dress code. Think fall garden party vibes! For ladies, we suggest knee-length or midi dresses, elegant jumpsuits or dressy separates with heels or flats. For gentlemen, a suit and tie is great or you can opt for a blazer or sports jacket with tailored trousers and dress shoes. Please avoid: jeans, sneakers, boots, t-shirts or anything overly casual.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm to get the most of the fleeting autumn light! Please arrive 30 minutes early to account for parking, finding your seat and enjoying a delicious welcome beverage!
Yes, there is free parking onsite at the John James Audubon Center. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area.
We love your kids but our wedding is an adults-only event.
The John James Audubon Center is a nonprofit nature center and wildlife sanctuary. It is set on 175 acres of forests, meadows, and stream valleys and features a number of historic buildings, including the first American home of John James Audubon. Audubon was the ornithologist, naturalist, conservationist, and bird portrait painter whose influential 1827 Birds of America pictorial guide helped inspire the formation of the National Audubon Society.
If you need a little extra help getting around the venue, there will be a parking supervisor who can assist guests from the parking lot to the ceremony site on a golf cart. If you need extra assistance, please let Jacob or Catherine know ahead of time.
Due to guest count restrictions, all guests will be written on your invitation.
You'll have to wait and see!
