Is there a deadline to book a reservation at The Palms hotel?

Answer

The hotel asked for all guests to have their rooms reserved by July 15th. If you need to book after that date, please call the hotel directly at (631) 583-8870. *although the check in time on the website states 4pm, the hotel has kindly offered to be flexible and will accommodate based on the ferry you plan on taking over*

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think beachy semi-formal cocktail attire. We would love to see our guests in colorful dresses or jumpsuits and jackets and slacks. Ties are not required and jeans are prohibited! Keep in mind that the venue is waterfront and the temperature may drop throughout the night.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your children were invited, it would have been clear. If you are unsure, assume they are not.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

If you are ALLERGIC to shellfish please let us know!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are no cars on the island. There is extended parking available at the Bay Shore ferry terminal. For more information visit https://fireislandferries.com/schedules/ocean-beach/

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying in Ocean Beach, everything is in walking distance. If you choose to stay in another town on Fire Island, there are water taxis available to order. If you are not planning on staying the night in Fire Island, there will be boat transportation (either by ferry or water taxis) back to Bay Shore after the reception.
