Why did you choose this date?

Answer

It is the anniversary of DesaRay's grandparents who passed away several years ago. They were very close to DesaRay and had a long, happy marriage. We wanted to honor them by getting married on their anniversary.

It's such a small venue, you can't invite a lot of people. Why not choose somewhere else?

Answer

Like the date, the venue is important! We are getting married at the lake house that Matt's grandparents built. It has a special place in his heart, and a special place for his family. We hate that not everyone we love can come due to the size, but the ability to honor these precious people who meant so much to Matt is worth the sacrifice. We know our loved ones understand and will celebrate with us in other ways! We have amazing people who love and respect us!

Classic "swipe right" situation! It doesn't always work out for everybody, but it was just right for us!

Of course! Just watch them around the water.
