Our Story
Anthony & I met back in October 2018 - we were actually set up by a mutual friend (shoutout Kirsten Brinkley). I was working as an ER nurse at Shands while Anthony was working as a firefighter/EMT for ACFR. Anthony brought a patient into the trauma bay shortly after Kirsten talked to us about one another. I hid my last name with a “STEMI ALERT” sticker on my badge but that didn’t stop Anthony from messaging me on facebook. After some time talking, I decided to invite him out to a local bar in Gainesville for the Florida Georgia game. Little did Anthony know he would walk into the bar & see my intoxicated self yelling at the tv over college football for the first (& definitely not last) time lol. I wish I could say the rest was history or it was love at first sight, but I friendzoned him for almost a year before we actually got together! (lol sorry Ant). Thankfully, I came to my senses & with Brody's blessing (instant love for Anthony), we've been happily together since!
