Introduced to each other by family who love playing cupid, it all began as a casual coffee table chat besides all the history, kinship and connections of both families which goes ages back. After few weeks of cheeky back and forth banter, Des and Sam delved into deeper conversations. Besides commonalities such as their love for travel and adventure, escaping conversations of marriage until their 30's and the joy found in 'singeldom', Des and Sam began to enjoy each other's company. As days passed, Des simply couldn't resist Sam's bad jokes, oversized hoodies and Sam was drawn to Des's simplicity. A surprise visit, few days of travel, a Man Utd game, and a few cooking sessions later, the question was popped and Des says 'yes'! As the two of us look back and realise how God had 'reserved' us both for each other, we can't but simply thank Him for bringing us to each other. It was worth the wait. He truly does everything beautifully in His time.
