We first crossed paths in high school, but our connection really began in 2013 as we were both finishing up college. Through our shared circle of friends, we got to know each other and formed a connection that began to take shape and deepen over time. For six years, our friendship remained a constant thread in both of our lives. There were moments of curiosity and interest, times when it almost became something more, and others where we were more focused on the other parts of our lives - but what endured was a deep respect and care for one another. That strong foundation made it all the more meaningful on July 8, 2019, when we took a chance on starting a new chapter and commitment to each other. Our relationship has been built on years of shared history, mutual growth, and consistent partnership. We’ve had the gift of growing into adulthood side-by-side - learning, evolving, and supporting each other through all of it. On September 4, 2021, we moved into our first home together, where we’ve built a life with our two beloved cat children, Levi and Luna, and Aaron became a step-dad to Destinee's snake, Bessel. This little home we’ve created is full of love, laughter, and the quiet strength that comes from knowing each other so well. On February 28, 2025, we got engaged on the side of a cliff in Sedona’s Subway Canyon. It was a breathtaking moment that felt like the perfect reflection of our journey. We’re so excited for this next chapter and to be able to celebrate it surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
