Drew has been Derryck's best friend since High School. With that, Drew quickly got merged into the Hedley family attending many Disney vacations. Drew has always been just a phone call or text away whenever anyone has needed help with anything and Derryck couldn't have thought of anyone better to be his best man.

Alisa has been Kayla's biggest cheerleader and best friend. She has always been there for her to lean on, cry to and laugh with no matter what life threw their way, as her sister and soon to be Matron of Honor.

Alex and Derryck met each other as roommates through the connection of Drew. Very quickly they became good friends and Alex is currently pursuing his dream to become a fighter pilot with the Indiana Air National Guard. Derryck's favorite memory with Alex is helping him move back up to Indiana on a 19hr non-stop road trip.

Ashleigh and Kayla met at a young adult hangout in Austin 3 years ago. Kayla was the life group leader for the spring at her her church and that's when they have became best friends. From sharing the love and passion about God and lifting each other up when they were down.

Jacob and Derryck met during Derryck's 3rd year of teaching through a co-worker. They bonded over their love for the trading card game, Magic the Gathering. Even though Jacob and his wife moved to San Antonio, him and Derryck still keep in touch and make the occasional weekend trip for playing some games.

Derryck's sister has been such a wonderful person to Kayla from the moment they met. They met on 4th of July and immediately welcomed Kayla with open arms. It made her feel like she was already apart of the family. They have since bonded over time with their bluntness, sarcasm and Fourth Wing. Her love and care for her family is truly amazing.

James is the Husband of Matron of Honor Alisa Manns. James and Derryck met early on in Kayla and Derryck's relationship at a outing to a local arcade and cidery, Cidercade. Quickly they bonded over firearms and nerd topics. James and Alisa were very quick to make Derryck feel welcome in the Manns/Race family which is why Derryck had to have James stand up with him at their wedding.

Even though Kayla hasn't known Hope for that long, she has always accepted her for who she is. One thing that stood out to Kayla was Hope's phrase: " We choose you, I CHOOSE you". Her kindness and sense of humor have made her such an important part of Kayla's circle.

Rowan is the absolutely ADORABLE daughter of Drew and Tayiah. When Derryck and Kayla were thinking of who would be best for flower girl, Rowan was the first that came to mind.

Kayla's first time meeting Tayiah was at Texican Cafe with Drew and Derryck. She was very sweet and welcoming which meant a lot to Kayla. Over the years she has begun to love how blunt and honest she is about everything she has to say, along with the loving spirt that she has.
