We Got Married

It all began on April 6th, 2015 when our friend Cole introduced us. He had been invited to join a group of Veronica's friends over spring break to go to Ocean City for the day. Before agreeing, he asked if he could bring his friend Derrick with the hidden intention of introducing him to Veronica. When Cole and Derrick met the group ready to play mini golf, Cole assumed his position of "Wing-man" allowing Derrick to stay close to Veronica so they could get to know each other. While Veronica was surrounded by all her high school friends, she found herself staying behind and only talking to Derrick. They instantly hit it off, a love at first sight you could say. Discovering they had a lot in common from tastes in music, movies, and cuisine, to enjoying the beach and wildlife. From the minute they began talking, they couldn't stop. Constantly being together and wanting to find new things they both enjoyed. From this day on, all she would talk about was this new guy Derrick. She had thought love at first sight was just a cliche you see in movies. But after we have met and gone on a 5 year journey together, we are now convinced it really does exist in real life.
