Point Ruston
As you drive towards Point Ruston you will see a lot of various restaurants, coffee shops, docks, and small parks along the Ruston waterfront. Once you arrive at Point Ruston there are more restaurants, shops, a movie theater, an ice cream shop, and an indoor farmers market. There is paid parking for a small fee (about $2 for 90-120 min)
Tacoma Art Museum
The heart of the art scene in Tacoma, this is the premiere art museum
Museum of Glass
A staple of the Tacoma art scene and an opportunity to see them make the glass live!
Steel Creek Tacoma
A cool happy hour and live line dancing with a mechanical bull. The venue has a diverse group of people (age and race).
Tacoma Comedy Club
Tacoma has a strong comedy scene and this is the oldest comedy club in the city! They have two locations so be sure to pay attention to the address.
Super Funny Comedy Club
This is comedian Nate Jackson's comedy club and what I would describe as the "Black" comedy club. Really close to the hotels we recommended and always a good time

A mixture of good coffee and upscale decor. This is a great place to sit and chat, take pictures and people watch.
