Hannah and I shared a wall in our Freshman dorm, then shared coffee our first week of classes, then shared friendship and the rest is history. I can't imagine life without her - and not just because she's always game for Taco Bell. Hannah and her husband Kenny are pretty much family for me and Derrick. We love living in Richmond with them!

Amy and I have been best buds since middle school - back when we used to talk on the landline until late in the night. We were famous for the school night sleepover and always enjoyed a good picnic in our favorite hometown spots. Amy and I have never missed a chance to catch up over coffee through all of life's changes. I'm so glad to have grown up with her!

Sam and I met during my internship with the Richmond Flying Squirrels. He introduced me to Spikeball and Asado. I always have a great time hanging out with him and talking about what is new with each other. Sam is my best friend from my time working in baseball.

Emily and I worked together for the Lynchburg College Bonner Program when I was in grad school. Our late night drives and pep talks over french fries helped us both get through school and life! Emily is one of the most caring and tender people I have ever met. She is so good at supporting the people she loves and I'm so grateful for her friendship.

We met when I was working a table for LCF (Lynchburg Christian Fellowship) at the Club and Organization Fair and he actually showed up to our group one night and wasn't scared off. Patrick has been a great friend and confidant ever since. I always enjoyed our times kicking the soccer ball around or going to grab some pizza and catching up on life.

Kristin is my beautiful sister-in-law (bonus sister!). We actually grew up together in church and our history includes being on the church dance team together. Kristin is sweet and sassy and loves my brother Mike so well. Seeing how happy she makes him warms my heart so much - I'm so glad to have her as part of our family!

Stefan and I met a long time ago. I don’t exactly remember it though. He has become an avid Braves fan in our adult years and with my experience working in baseball, we always have a lot to talk about when we get together. Living in different states, we don't get to see each other that often, but we always have a good time when we have a chance to catch up.
