We’re getting married

My co-worker at the time apparently felt I was wasting my time dating. One day while at work she said “I have someone for you to meet. He’s a really cool good guy. He has a job recently divorced, I think you two will be good together.” Derrick received a picture that said the girl in the orange said what’s up. I saw Derrick maybe a month later. After seeing Derrick I told my coworker. You didn’t tell me he had gold teeth and why he wants me to call him Mone...Y? “We would have never picked one another" despite the initial shock and both of us stepping outside of our usual "type" we turned out to be a match made in heaven. Together we have learned that the absolute best things usually come when you least expect them.

We we’re celebrating our annual FRIENDAVERSARY in Puerto Vallarta. We had been out sight seeing all day and we're ending the night at the resort’s mojito bar. We sat there for hours just talking until I was just too tired, I could barely keep my eyes open. We head back to the room and for some reason he is insistent that he take his shower first. It was really random and I was kinda annoyed since I was the super tired one but I let him go. When he finished, I go in, mad of course because I just want to be in bed already. When I finish, I start to walk past him. He grabs me as I pass, turns me around and asks "will you marry me" I look towards the bed he's laid out rose petals surrounding an engagement ring...needless to say I forgot all about being annoyed and said YES
