Once upon a time a girl was flying high in the Windy City. Across Lake Michigan, a guy was dancing in Motown. I saw something in these two, so I cast my line from the Pacific Ocean to the Midwest, reeling them both to Cali, my home turf. These two were a piece of work; both members of Black Greek Organizations. Lisa, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. & Derrick, a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Lovers of the game of Tennis as players & enthusiasts for the sport. They just wouldn't do the right thing; I couldn't get this “West" Coast connection. With these two being a work in progress, my arrows didn’t quite work on them; I had to use modern technology. In 2016, my website OK-Cupid caught their attention. Their first meet and greet was so much better than online; an instant mutual attraction between them. Derrick HAD to tell Lisa the one picture did not do her justice! Lisa was impressed with his demeanor and attentiveness. A great first date! The second date was at Derrick's company's bar b que. His co-workers telling them they were like the "perfect" couple. Everyone felt their positive energy together. It was clear, they had "IT" from the very beginning. Their compatibility was awesome. ..for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Galatians 6:9 Again, still works in progress with these two, they both had some lessons to learn. It was not yet their time and they parted ways. REALLY?! I’m Cupid! Why couldn’t this union come together? I never miss! As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:1 Then it hit me, I didn’t look to the Most important thing that sealed their compatibility, it was their love and relationship with GOD. I removed myself & Let GOD do HIS thing. Lessons were quickly learned and soon GOD said “it’s time” and HE brought them back together. Soul Mates and Blucky (Blessed and Lucky) they are!!! March 7th 2017 Derrick got on one knee, and He "Put a Ring on it!" and Lisa said Yes!!
