Our adventure begins... (The RSVP deadline was June 1, 2025)

We met in the most modern of ways – shout out to Hinge – in February of 2022, and from the first moment, we were hooked. Our first date was a spontaneous decision after a long day for both of us. Derrick had just finished his shift (if you know Derrick, you know that means a late one – he works until 10:30 PM), and Dani had just wrapped up a concert. We thought, "Why not meet up for a drink?" So, we did. Derrick showed up in scrubs and a Cubs hat, and after just one quick beer in Spokane, something clicked. We don’t know why, but it felt right. The second time we met up was a bit of a surprise for Derrick. Dani was hosting a fundraiser at Bellwether Brewing, and while Derrick showed up with a friend, Dani brought her entire family. Instead of running away (which would have been understandable!), Derrick stayed, met everyone, and even bonded with Dani’s friends while she hosted. The night ended with a dance, and when Derrick gave Dani a kiss. If you know us, we don’t mess around. By the third date, Dani laid it all out – this is what she wanted in life and with *slight* encouragement from Dani, Derrick did the same– and to our relief, we aligned. From there, we officially started dating, bonding over our shared love of pups, hikes, adventures, and endless Letterkenny quotes. The rest is history. We can't wait to continue this journey together, surrounded by the people we love most.
