A Monday wedding?

Answer

Yes, we have decided to have our wedding on a Monday. The day/date we have chosen works best for us. We completely understand if you are unable to make it to the wedding because of this choice. We will still love you, and we hope you can love and respect this decision. We did pick Memorial Day because most people have this day off, but we completely understand if you cannot make it.

The wedding is being held at the Juliette Chapel in Dahlonega, Ga. The address is 497 GA-52 West, Dahlonega, GA 30533.

Will we receive a formal invitation?

Answer

Formal invitations were sent out in February. Please let us know if you have not received one.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

There is an RSVP section within our website. We need your final RSVP by March 31, 2025. Unfortunately, if we have not received your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as not attending.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. We ask that you wear cocktail or semi-formal attire. No jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops. We would like everyone to dress nicely as this is an occasion to celebrate. The wedding will take place at the end of May, so it might be starting to get hot in Georgia. Definitely, check the temperatures and dress accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Please look for a +1 on your formal invitation. If you don't happen to see one on the formal invitations, please reach out to Derrick or Kirsten. It may have been an oversight. The venue does have a strict guest count limit, so please do not bring anyone who was not specifically invited.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love kids and plan to have Noah, as well as, some of our nieces be a part of the wedding. However, we do ask that children are dressed nicely and are on their best behavior. We want to share these memories with everyone, but children running around can be distracting. The venue has a strict guest count, if you don’t see your child’s name listed within the formal invitation or the RSVP, please reach out to Derrick or Kirsten so that they can be added.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking available at the venue. We highly recommend carpooling if at all possible.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please note any food allergies or preferences when RSVP'ing online. We ask that you only note food allergies that are severe reactions. The food will be served buffet style, so you will be able to avoid foods you do not particularly care for. If you need a vegetarian or vegan option, please let us know ASAP so that we can accommodate you.
