Matron of Honor
Caitlin promised her grandmother and best friend she would always be her matron of honor. Although she may not be here physically anymore, her spirit will still be honored and cherished on this special day.
Maid of Honor
Caitlin’s (not-so) baby cousin. There is no one better to stand beside her in their grandmother’s place on this special day.
Bridesmaid
The bride’s sister in law and the only person she would trust with her big brother’s heart. Dog mom to the best nephews, Draigo & Otis, she is also the best Aunt to Bo.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin’s best friend since their 12u softball days. The bride has been lucky to call her a teammate but even luckier to call her a best friend.
Bridesmaid
Ariana, otherwise known as the mother of the bride’s “favorite child”, she has been a member of Caitlin’s family since day one. Ariana has stood by Caitlin through thick and thin and today would be no exception.
Bridesmaid
The bride’s California bestie. From the moment they met at a rooftop party, Caitlin and Racquel have been laughing together ever since!
Bridesmaid
One of the best perks of dating Derrick was meeting his best friend’s wives. The bride quickly became close friends with Ashley and now gets to be family. Ashley is the protective and praying friend that every girl needs.
Bridesmaid
Another one of Derrick’s best friend’s wives that Caitlin fell in love with. Jen is the kindest and sweetest soul you will ever meet. The bride is so grateful for her friendship.
Bridesmaid
Since the moment they met in college, throwing a softball before their first day of practice, Caitlin and Becca have been best friends.
Bridesmaid
Started as the bride’s coach and now is more of Caitlin’s sister. Alicia used to teach Caitlin how to call a softball game, now she’ll be by her side on her wedding day.
Groomsman
Ron and Derrick go back to high school football days. Through every stage of life, he's remained one of the most genuine, constant, and dependable people he knows. If the groom ever needed someone in his corner, Ron was there—and still is before even being asked.
Groomsman
Derrick met Andre playing football in high school, and somewhere along the way he became the little brother he never had. He's family in every sense of the word, and he is proud to have him standing by his side for his special day.
Groomsman
The groom has known Andre since middle school, and from day one he's been a true ride-or-die friend. Through good times, bad times, and probably a few questionable decisions, he's always had his back. Family isn’t always blood, and he’s proof of that
Groomsman
Lewis and Derrick became friends through sports in high school. He's always been someone he can count on for honest advice, a listening ear, support, and the occasional reality check when it is needed the most.
Groomsman
Every friend group needs someone who keeps everyone connected, and for Derrick and his friends that's Jonathan. Since their football days in high school, he's been the guy who genuinely cares about everyone and is always ready to help—whether you ask him to or not.
Groomsman
The military is where Nicholas and Derrick met 12 years ago, and clicked right away. They’ve had each other's backs through deployments, life changes, and everything in between. Some friendships are built over time—this one was built through shared experiences and mutual trust.
Groomsman
The groom has known TJ for 24 years, and he’s always been family. If you’ve met him, you’ve probably seen him smiling, laughing, or making someone else’s day better. His good heart and positive spirit are just a few reasons he’s such an important part of Derrick’s life.
Groomsman
Cortez was one of the first people Derrick met when he moved to Virginia nearly 28 years ago. Since then, he’s looked out for him like only family can. He’s spent years keeping him out of trouble—which, if you know the groom it deserves some kind of award.
Groomsman
The Groom has known Tyjuan since middle school, and he’s the kind of friend everyone hopes to have. He never keeps score, never hesitates to help, and has always shown up when it matters most. That’s a rare quality, and one to be grateful for.
Best Man
Bo is already the most important man in the bride and groom’s life. He’s Daddy’s little man, Mommy’s baby boy, and the reason they smile a little bigger every day. While he may be the youngest member of the wedding party, he’s definitely the one stealing the spotlight
Officiant
Joshua is Caitlin’s older brother by four years and one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. While Caitlin and Josh are complete opposites, they’ve always shared a close bond. We’re especially grateful for the friendship that has grown between Josh and Derrick over the years—they genuinely enjoy each other’s company and have become great friends. We couldn’t imagine anyone better to officiate our wedding and help us start this next chapter together.
