Locarno

If traveling from Germany, we recommend taking the train to Locarno station. We will arrange a shuttle from Locarno station on May 27 for the train arriving from Frankfurt at 4:14pm. Please let us know if you'd like a seat as space in the van is limited. For any other arrival times and for your return, you can take public bus B316 to Brissago and from there Linea 3 to Cannero. You can find the times at sbb.ch and vcotrasporti.it.

Flight

Milano Malpensa

You can fly into Milano Malpensa airport and take a shuttle bus to Verbania Intra Bar Lucini for 30€. You can find more information at the link below and reserve at https://www.safprenotazioni.com/SafAlibus2000/. We will arrange to pick you up at Intra in time for the shuttle bus leaving Malpensa on May 27 at 2pm and arriving in Intra at 3.30pm. Please inform us if you'd like a seat as space in the van is limited. Otherwise you can take Linea 3 bus to Cannero or rent a car at Milano Malpensa airport to use for the duration of your stay.

If you drive to Cannero from Germany or rent a car at Milan airport, please let us know if you'd be willing to offer a seat or two to other guests. Likewise, if you are interested in carpooling from Germany or Milan airport, please let us know and we'll get you in touch.

There is a limited number of private AirBnbs available in Cannero Riviera, as well as some in neighboring towns Oggebio and Cannobio. If you pursue this option, please book as soon as possible. If you stay outside of Cannero Riviera, we recommend renting a car as public transit is extremely limited.

Cannero Riviera has a number of hotels at various price points. Please book your room as soon as possible! High-end: Hotel Cannero, Park Hotel Italy Mid-tier: Il Cortile, Hotel Arancioamaro Low-end: Residenza La Zagara (call Nicoletta at +393478719825), B&B Casa Forster, B&B Casa al Mulino, Casa Banano. All hotels are located within a 15-minute walk of Ca' Giardino delle Palme, so you will not need a car to get around during your stay.

Camping Lido Cannero

There is a campground right next to the Soleluna public beach, located 5 minutes' walk from our wedding venue - and right next to the bar where we will hold our afterparty!
