The more the merrier! The venue at Glacier Gardens does have a max seating of 115. Please make sure to RSVP with your full party size.

Extra family and friends that want to come to Alaska.

We know that visiting Alaska is a unique opportunity and if you have family or friends that want to come, they should. While our wedding venue has a limited capacity, all will be welcome at the Friday, August 22nd gathering.

Weather

Answer

The weather is unpredictable, no matter the time of year. Expect it to rain at some point during your visit. We recommend having a raincoat and waterproof footwear.

Bears?

Answer

There are bears, everywhere, all the time. You could be downtown on the sidewalk and run into one. Be respectful and keep your distance. If you need to, act big, open your jacket and yell! Don't hike alone. (While an awesome picture, Theresa's dad Matt is too close to this bear! This was during their first visit, and we did not provide proper bear safety orientation.)

What if I can't attend?

Answer

We plan on having a reception party on the East Coast and another party in Alaska, hopefully next year. So, if you can't make it to Alaska this time there is always next time! If you are unable to attend, please let us know in the RSVP. Given the size of the wedding venue, this will greatly help us finalize our guest list.
