Were Getting Married!

The very first day we met, Derek saw me and asked me to buy a Butterfinger for a dollar. At that moment, Derek found out that I dislike Butterfingers. That was the first moment we ever noticed each other. After a few weeks of running into each other, Derek finally got a phone number. He then came to find out that it was the wrong number. He then approached me in a crowd of students at a school rally and politely said, " you gave me the wrong number, would you like to give me the right one?" Who could say no to that? Ever since, we have been inseparable. The rest of the story is history! Twelve years of love and friendship. First come school, then comes marriage!

It was my Birthday, Oct 21, 2017. I thought I was going to SF to celebrate my Birthday, but plans changed. I was blind folded and led to a surprise birthday party with the help of my sisters. It was not only a surprise birthday party, there was one more surprise to come. After the happy birthday song, I get ready to cut the cake, I turn around and Derek is on one knee. I though he stopped to tie his shoe. lol! He starts telling me how much he loves me and starts crying. He pulls out a blue box and then he asks me to marry him. I shouted "Yes," and we were engaged. Now, we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
