You could say our love for music brought us together. Growing up, I always told my parents that the person I would marry had to have the same taste in music as me, so it's only fitting that Derek and I both bought tickets for a "Louis the Child" concert pre-Covid. When the concert was canceled, we both opted to hang on to the tickets instead of being refunded. Fast forward a year and a half later to August 4th, 2021 when we finally got to go to the concert, and as an added bonus, ended up meeting each other! I'd say the rest was history from that point on, but after the concert, we lost touch for a few months... until I ~slid~ in his DMs when Michigan State beat Michigan (Go Green ;)). Then we finally reconnected in person on November 20th, 2021, and thennn the rest was history! And now we are getting married in Santorini, Greece!! We can't wait to celebrate with our closest family and friends in one of the most magical places on earth, as we become husband and wife!
