We are so excited to welcome you to Sintra, one of Portugal’s most magical destinations. Known for its lush hills, historic palaces, and romantic charm, Sintra is truly a fairytale setting and we can’t wait to celebrate with you here. Getting There: The closest international airport is Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS). Sintra is approximately 30 minutes from Lisbon. From Lisbon, you can reach Sintra by: Train via Lisbon’s Rossio Station, rental cars widely available at the airport, or Uber/Taxi, which are convenient and readily available throughout the region. Where to Stay: We recommend staying in Sintra, Cascais, or Lisbon, depending on your travel plans. Each area offers wonderful accommodations and easy access to the wedding location. We encourage booking early, as Sintra is a popular destination year-round. Below you can find a few hotel suggestions. Travel Tips: Passports should be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as Sintra is hilly and charmingly walkable. Weather is typically mild, with warm days and cooler evenings. Don't forget a universal adapter!
