Our Story
Thanks to Hinge—the dating app designed to be deleted—our paths crossed in the most modern way. Mollie liked Derek’s photo, prompting him to reach out. Our first date was set for May 27, 2021, but when Derek followed up a little too late, Mollie had a better idea: "Nope, let’s video chat first." That call led to drinks and dinner on May 30, marking the start of something special.
Over the years, we’ve explored, dined, traveled, and built a life together. After two years in the West Village, we made a home on the Upper East Side, filling our days with adventures and cherished memories.
Now, as we look ahead to May 30, 2025—exactly four years from the beginning—we can’t wait to say "I do" in Newport, RI. What started with a simple swipe has led us here, to a moment we’re beyond excited to share with those we love. Grateful for every experience, we can't wait for this next chapter together.
