Your favorite Doritos (I like Cheetos better) gremlin is finally getting married! It all started when my dad met a hot mom and decided to have the most perfect kid, me. So perfect that it took me 8 years of begging to get a sibling and that’s because I always get what I want. I am a connoisseur of wondering what my dog is doing every 15 minutes and a novice at doing anything for myself. I hate long walks and the beach, but I like to ad-lib to every song on car rides. When I was 17, Derek stole my breath (mainly because I have asthma) and mended my broken heart (actually that was my cardiologist). 8 years later, I finally get to file as married on my taxes and mooch off of decent insurance from my true love. Dreams do come true.

Her Royal Priestess and High Maid of Honor, Laura Ann. Aka kimms other half since about ‘06. As of October, I will be graciously stepping aside to let Derek take over as kimmicubs caretaker. From early morning Dunkin’ runs to Chinese food at the park, from first loves to open heart surgery, we’ve been through so much together. I could not be more excited and proud to be able to stand next to this amazing woman as she marries someone actually worthy of her.

I've known Derek for most of my life and we have been best friends for 20 years. Having both Kimm and Derek in my life is an absolute blessing and I am proud of the couple that I have watched them blossom into. Tiana, one of the bridesmaids and Kimm’s child. Kimm was my mom in high school (iykyk) and quite literally always looked out for me and was always there for me (usually while shoving our faces with food at her house). I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to see her living her happily ever after, as I have looked up to her for always being her authentic self and doing what makes her happy. We have always been crazy together and always will be, and I hope to follow in your footsteps one day Kimm.

I'm Mike and I was in Kimm's graduating class at Wauconda High School, though we didn't talk back then. We became friends because we each noticed we had very similar interests through social media! Particularly the band Circa Survive, which I hope to see with the Bride and Groom soon! The funny thing about my involvement in the wedding party is how quickly Derek and I became good friends. Kimm forced him to be social and come to a party at my pool, and since then I feel like he has become one of my very best friends. Fun facts about me: I like getting tattoos and making music!

I am an educator and professional dancer. I’m currently in graduate school, receiving my masters in social work. I met Kimm in our sorority and I had the pleasure of being her educator as well as becoming her pledge mom. It is an honor to stand next to her on her wedding day celebrating their beautiful relationship. We have amazing memories together and I can’t wait to look back on this special day.

Eventually, I ventured out to Australia for a few months but unfortunately didn’t come back with an amazing accent like Kimm was hoping I would (but I did bring back some yummy snacks and kangaroo jerky).

I’m Kimm’s sibling. When Derek first came to our household a stranger, I was just a smol kid. Now I’m a big kid, and Derek is family. I’ve witnessed their relationship form through ups and downs, a college proposal, and now an oncoming spooky wedding. It’s been amazing to see their relationship blossom and both of them grow together. I have even gotten to witness the elusive Romeo bonding with Kimm and Derek on a daily basis. I’m Kimm’s cousin and I’ve known her since she was born. I can honestly say Kimm was the first person on this planet who introduced me to the Pokémon world back when its popularity was just gaining momentum. Fast forward many years later, I still hold on to the many adventures we had growing up, most of which are Pokémon related lol. As we’ve entered adulthood, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Derek. We’ve had the privilege of wrapping up a night out at Taco Bell which further solidified our friendship. I’m proud to stand with them as they begin a new chapter in their lives. “ARR AA RAA” -Romeo. Translated to English: Ball. Romeo, pronounced “Roh Mayo O” because he’s Mexican, goes by several mysterious aliases such as Mr. M, that dude, Mays, Roberto, and Romeo M Jacquez Torres-Pacheco-Johnson. He came to love his mommy Mr. Mom (Kimm) after she got surgery, where he wouldn’t leave her side until she recovered fully. Afterward, he made a snark deal with his now Mrs. Dad, Derek to work for him. Derek was hit with the opportunity of a lifetime, to be the unpaid janitor, driver, cook, and cleaner for Young CEO Romeo. Romeo’s age is unknown as he refers to himself as “pinche bebe” which directly translates to “his mighty highness baby M”. His hobbies involve chasing the ball & sunlight, chasing that bag, chasing the ball, and chasing fine ass.
