Please RSVP via the website by Friday May 10th. We love getting excited texts that you're planning to join us. But please, make sure you've also RSVP'd through the website. It's the only way we can coordinate with our vendors.
Parking is extremely limited. Both Trader Vic's and the Marina Park have small parking lots so we highly encourage carpooling, ride-sharing, or taking the Emery Go-Round, a free shuttle that will drop you both near Trader Vics and at the Marina Park. If you Lyft to our wedding, we will cover up to $30 of your Lyft ride home.
The ceremony site is outdoors along the Emeryville Marina. It will be breezy and sunny so consider a jacket and sunglasses. It will be on a grass field so let that guide your footwear choices. Trader Vic's will be inside with access to their beautiful outdoor deck.
Cocktail or Tiki attire.
"Tiki culture is a fascinating blend of Polynesian [pop] aesthetics, mid-century American escapism, and the art of cocktail making." -https://thetikicove.co.uk/ Dressing in Tiki attire could mean wearing an Aloha Shirt (brands like Sig Zane, Reyn Spooner, Kahala) with slacks. Or wearing a dress in a tropical/ Hawaiian print (like Hilo Hatti). Still confused? Imagine you're dressing for a nice dinner while in Hawaii.
