Derek was working at Bobby D's when a group of my sorority sisters and I went to have dinner there. My sisters were pointing Derek out, saying he was Bailey's (one of my bridesmaids) "type." I know Bailey well...Derek was NOT her type, he was MY "type." We all left, and not much more thought went into the cute waiter. A couple months later I went to lunch with a couple good friends, Sertrice and Katie, at Bobby D's. Of course, Derek was working! I told the two how cute he was, to which both of my friends insisted I leave my number. I thought they were insane, but if anyone knows my dear, sweet, kind friends Katie and Sertrice, they're very persistent people. That was that, I left my number for the cute waiter....Then, the cute waiter gave me a call. The rest was history.
