Derek and Jasmine met working at the best place in the entire world in late January of 2022. Not even half a year later, Derek knew what he wanted and went for it by telling Jasmine that she would be going to a Washington Capitals game on May 7th at 1PM and gave her no choice. The Caps won 6-1 against the Florida Panthers that night, but Derek won the real prize - a partner for the rest of his life.
