We're tying the knot!

Jacqueline and Derek met the modern way, on Hinge, where they were matched as each other’s “Most Compatible.” It turned out to be a perfect prediction. Their first date was at Franky Bradley’s. Jacqueline showed up curious and open, doing most of the talking at first. Over drinks, Derek listened with a steady focus, his quiet smile making it clear he was fully present. Later that night, at Dirty Frank’s, words came even more naturally, full of ease and laughter. They left knowing this was the beginning of something good. They officially became a couple on May 3rd, 2022. In many ways, Jacqueline and Derek are different, but perfectly in sync. She’s fiery and driven — always encouraging and supporting him — while Derek is patient and dependable, a calm presence she can always lean on. Together, they balance each other and make each other better. On New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 2024, Derek proposed on the rooftop of their apartment. Jacqueline had no idea it was coming. As the song “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran floated through the speaker and fireworks lit up the night sky, Derek got down on one knee, and Jacqueline said yes. Now, on May 3rd, 2026 — their fourth anniversary — they’ll say “I do.” They're so grateful to celebrate it with the people they love most.
