NEW WEDDING VENUE HAS BEEN UPDATED!

In late September 2015, Jacque was helping her friend and coworker move from Newport Beach to Laguna Beach. This coworker happened to live right next-door to a good looking group of guys. After multiple trips up and down the stairs, they had almost fully packed up the U-Haul. All of a sudden, one of the neighbors came outside and offered to help the girls with the move. At this point, however, they were just about finished moving everything. So in a very smooth and suave way, Derek asked Jacque out for dinner instead. And the rest is history.

Derek surprised Jacque with a hiking trip to Yosemite. Jacque planned three difficult hikes for the first day and at the top of - arguably the most difficult hike of both of their lives - Upper Yosemite Falls, Derek set up the Go-Pro (like he had been doing all day), but this time he had it recording. Derek got down on one knee and asked Jacque to marry him - at which point, Jacque needed to confirm he had received her parents' blessing (which he had) and she said YES! They spent the rest of the weekend "glamping" in an Airstream, hiking and biking around Yosemite and celebrating this crazy next step!
