This is an amazing coffee shop, my very favorite place! Definitely check it out. It has amazing coffee, scones, muffins and even lunch.
While you're in town, you might as well go visit Niagara Falls! It is about a 10 minute drive from Lewiston. You can even enjoy the Maid of the Mist boat ride or a Cave of the Winds tour, just be prepared to get a little wet.
For an awesome tour of the Niagara Gorge, take a ride on the Jet Boat! Be prepared to get really wet, but this ride is unlike anything you've ever experienced.
Enjoy a tour of Fort Niagara, a major fort during the birth of our nation. Take a trip back in time and see an important part of our history.
This is one of many wineries on the Niagara Wine trail. This winery in particular does wine and chocolate pairings, something you don't want to miss! All of the wineries are an easy drive from each other and are worth checking out.
I can't just recommend one shop or restaurant in Lewiston. Everything is so good, and all the shops are worth taking a peek into. Here are a couple restaurants to check out, but I am not listing all of them: Apple Granny's, Cask and Cow, Gallo's, Brickyard, Silo and much more. Also, on Saturday May 25th, Lewiston is hosting “The Taste of Lewiston” which is a festival down Center Street. This is definitely something that you should check out!
A 25 minute drive can bring you to Downtown Buffalo. Here you can enjoy many different things including Canalside, Albright Knox Art Gallery, the Buffalo Zoo, and many other activities and events. There are many good restaurants in Buffalo as well, including 716 Food and Sport Restaurant, Pearl Street Grill, Chef's and Anchor Bar (home of the Buffalo chicken wing).
While you are in town, you can always go across the border and visit Canada for the day! There are a lot of wine tours on the Canadian side, a very good view of Niagara Falls and the Butterfly Conservatory. You can also spend the day in Niagara-on-the- Lake shopping, taking a carriage ride through the town, or enjoying the view of the lake. Just remember your passport if you would like to go to Canada!
